Actor Abhishek bachchan speaks about films, wife Aishwarya Rai BACHCHAN and much more...

Abhishek Bachchan is geared up for a memorable year ahead. Though Mani Ratnam's movies, whose storyline has drawn inspiration from the classic Indian epic Ramayana with Abhi playing the demon God himself, releases mid this year and is already making the right news headlines. The actor is ecstatic about how the movie challenged him as an actor.
"As an actor, I love challenging myself. There's no fun doing the same thing over and over again. Delhi 6 and Paa (that released in 2009) were totally different in content and how I had to approach the roles. Imagine, I played my father's father in reel life. But I like enjoying variety. It excites me. Mani Ratnam's film has been a good challenge for me as an actor but I think he gets the best out of actors. He's a genius," Abhishek tells After Hrs in an interview.
Last year was quite fruitful for the actor as his TV game show debut on Colors titled National Bingo Night received good response and numerous brand endorsements also came his way including one that paired him with Ash. Abhishek tells us about enjoying marital bliss with Aishwarya with whom he completed three years of marriage on April 20.
"Ash is the most beautiful person in the world. The greatest thing about her is that she is not superficial. She is one of the few women who know that beauty starts from inside and you have to be a beautiful human being to be physically beautiful. Ash is the embodiment of that," he adds.
The DNA After Hrs Style God and Most Stylish Gen Next award winner also tells us how his father, the uber cool Amitabh Bachchan, has inspired his sense of style.
"Dad is definitely an inspiration for the younger generation. The élan with which he carries off clothes —it could be the most ridiculous costume to the coolest thing, he carries it off with such dignity and flair. Me being his son, I have definitely been inspired by how he carries off his clothes. I use a lot of his style specially the different way of wearing the clothes," he says.
Talking about how the Bachchan family is considered the first family of Bollywood with all the family members standing out with their individual feats, Abhi says: "I would say we have been lucky to have the kind of love and affection thatpeople have showered on us. That also motivates us to do good work everyday and not compromise on anything."
